Its decision time.

The Census takes place today Sunday 27 March 2011.

This is the biggest mass collection of personal and private data since the Doomsday Book. Any person present in your household today/tonight will have to answer a series of highly personal and invasive questions. In short it is State mandated Data Rape.

I, like many others totally oppose this intrusive questioning, going far beyond a simple population count, as another assault by the Database State to collect data about every facet of your personal and private lives.

So, what can we do about it.

We can follow the advice of the Guardian and boycott the Census entirely, although this may make you liable for a totally outrageous and some would say unlawful £1000 fine for non compliance. (its the usual ‘you will comply or we will hurt you’ big brother style of government).

We can ignore certain aspects of the questioning as proposed by Archbishop Cranmer in his “ Mind your own *%$#@!! business ” campaign, although this is focusing on the religious questioning, and as kindly pointed out by His Grace, as this section is voluntary, should not attract a fine.

OR you can BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE, and simply change your name for the Census. It is one of the few lawful ways in which you can totally make a nonsense of any data collected, especially if it is to be given to all and sundry.. (there is no requirement on the form to provide previous names and perfectly legal under Common Law).

As for the questions…  its entirely up to you whether you want to lie, obfuscate, tell half-truths.. you know that all this data collection is going to be shared, it is going to be used to regulate you even further, and burden you with yet more taxation and cost, but remember, just simply complying means that this is the day you all become State property.

Its decision day. Are you just one of the sheeple?
