Letter Bomb in London

The news as being
reported on
BBC and Sky News is that a letter bomb has
exploded in the central
London offices of Capita Management, the company
that runs the London Congestion Charging on behalf of TfL.

We abhor the use
of force in this manner, and condemn those who have undertaken this cowardly act.

We say that no
matter what the grievance, no matter what the gripe, this is not the way to
protest. The only people you hurt and damage by doing so are the employees of
the company that has been targeted.

By planting
devises of any kind only adds fuel to the government campaign to further restrict
our rights in the name of security.

There is a well
developed and well proven method to protest, that is via your MP’s and locally
elected representatives, to petition them and to use the political process, not
to plant bombs, it serves no-ones interests to do so.

To the member of
staff injured in this blast, we wish her well and a speedy recovery.
